Founded in 2001, the Stowe Weekend of Hope offers an educational and inspirational opportunity for cancer survivors and their families. Since its inception, the event has grown locally and nationally providing education for survivors and their caregivers in both traditional and nontraditional cancer treatments and therapies. Cancer survivors and their families gather with members of the medical community and wellness communities in order to further their understanding of the disease affecting their lives.
Traditionally, the goal of the Stowe Weekend of Hope has been to provide a low- or no-cost retreat for cancer survivors, their families, and caregivers, with access to education, healing, and support throughout a weekend-long retreat in Stowe, Vermont. Today, we strive to provide a similar experience of education, connection and healing in a safe, virtual format as we all navigate the global pandemic.
